Pro Futura Fellow Virginia Langum is the Recipient of the Royal Skyttean Society’s
Young Researcher Award

Virginia Langum is the recipient of the Royal Skyttean Society’s (Kungl. Skytteanska Samfundet)
Young Researcher Award 2017 for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Umeå University. The
award, which was instituted in 1993, aims at promoting and encouraging promising researchers
early in their careers. Langum will be presented with the award at a ceremony at Umeå University
during the autumn.

Virginia Langum was appointed a SCAS Pro Futura Scientia Fellow in 2013. She is Associate Professor
of English Literature at Umeå University.
