Pro Futura Scientia Fellow Ivan Miroshnikov Appointed Docent

SCAS Pro Futura Scientia Fellow Ivan Miroshnikov has been appointed Docent in Early Christian
and Coptic Studies at the University of Helsinki.

Miroshnikov is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Egyptological Studies, at the Russian
Academy of Sciences in Moscow. He was admitted to the Pro Futura programme at SCAS in 2019
and is in residence at the Collegium in the academic year 2020-21.

Miroshnikov’s Pro Futura project is entitled The Neglected Dialects: A Study of the Manuscripts and
Literature in Fayyūmic and Bohairic Coptic.
