Jenny Andersson has been elected working member of the 'history and the humanities class' of the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities External link, opens in new window. (Vitterhetsakademien).

Andersson is Professor of History of Science and Ideas at Uppsala University and a former SCAS Fellow. She was in residence at the Collegium in the spring of 2019.

Virgina Langum has been awarded the Rettig Prize 2025 External link, opens in new window. by the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities (Vitterhetsakademien), for her research on medieval England and medical humanities.

Langum is Professor of English Literature at Umeå University. She is a former Pro Futura Scientia Fellow and was in residence at SCAS in the academic year 2014-15 and the autumn of 2015.
