SCAS Welcomes Visitors from the VUIAS Programme

SCAS has had the pleasure of welcoming two VUIAS Fellows over the past few days. Iuliia Pavlova, Ivan Boberskyj Lviv State University of Physical Culture, Ukraine, and Volodymyr Vakhitov, American University, Kyiv, Ukraine, visited SCAS as part of the VUIAS programme and took part in the academic programme as well as engaged in discussions with current SCAS Fellows.
The programme included events at the Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies (IRES), Uppsala University, the weekly SCAS Fellow Seminar and the inaugural Nordic–VUIAS Fellow Conversation.
The visit was hosted by Kateryna Bondar, current SCAS-VUIAS Fellow. SCAS was also pleased to include Yuliya Krylova-Grek, Visiting Researcher at IRES, Uppsala University, and former SCAS-VUIAS Fellow Iryna Mogilevkina, now affiliated with the Department of Women's and Children's Health, Uppsala University, in the programming of the week.
The VUIAS programme is administered by Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin, Germany, together with partners, among them the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study.
