We are pleased to announce that Christina Garsten, Principal of SCAS, has been appointed to the Board of the Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes (CHCI). CHCI is a global network that fosters collaboration among humanities institutes and research centers, supporting interdisciplinary scholarship and academic exchange.

As a board member, Christina Garsten will help shape the future direction of CHCI while also strengthening SCAS’s international engagement. This appointment further enhances SCAS’s role in global academic networks, fostering new opportunities for collaboration, exchange, and the advancement of interdisciplinary research.
