Former SCAS Fellow Jenny Andersson’s new co-edited book Nordic Neoliberalisms: Perspectives on Economic, Social and Cultural Change in the Nordics after 1970 External link, opens in new window. (eds. Jenny Andersson, Professor of the History of Science and Ideas at Uppsala University, and Chris Howell, currently JY Pillay Visiting Professor of Social Sciences at Yale-NUS College and Emeritus Professor of Politics at Oberlin College, Routledge, 2025) was presented to Fellows and the public at an event in the SCAS Green Room Library today.

The book was introduced by Professor Andersson, followed by comments from Christina Garsten, SCAS Principal and Professor of Social Anthropology, Uppsala University & Stockholm University, Ola Morris Insett, Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Law and Governance, Norwegian Business School, Oslo, and Tero Toivanen, Postdoctoral Researcher, Core Fellow, Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies, University of Helsinki.

The presentation of the new volume coincides with a conference hosted by Jenny Andersson, “Markets as Political Orders”, taking place at SCAS 8–9 May, 2025.
