Vito Laterza will hold a residential senior visiting fellowship at the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna in March-May 2026.

Laterza is Associate Professor of Development Studies at the University of Agder. He was a SCAS-Nordic Fellow at the Swedish Collegium in the academic year 2024-25.

Julia Velkova has been promoted to Professor of Media and Culture at the Department of Culture and Society, Linköping University.

Velkova is also a Pro Futura Scientia Fellow at SCAS. She will be in residence at the Collegium in the academic year 2025-26.

Stephanie Wynne-Jones has received an ERC Advanced Grant for her project "Zambezian Entanglements in the South Central African Iron Age".

Wynne-Jones is Professor of African Archaeology at the University of York. She previously held a Pro Futura Scientia Fellowship at SCAS and was in residence at the Collegium in the academic year 2015-16.
