The Collegium Welcomes Fellows and Kicks Off the Spring Semester 2026

Yesterday, the spring semester of 2026 officially started, as new and returning Fellows arrived to the Collegium after the break.
This morning everyone gathered for the so called Fellow presentations to share a glimpse - limited to three minutes each - of their research. In true SCAS spirit, the conversations then continued over lunch.
This recurrent tradition, taking place at the beginning of each semester, not only highlights the multi- and interdisciplinary environment at SCAS, but it also fosters connections and sets the tone for the upcoming semester. With Fellows representing a wide range of disciplines and universities/organizations from across the world, the unique environment that is an institute for advanced study is truly shown.
