Olle Risberg and Sigrid Schottenius Cullhed develop their arguments in favour of a Nobel Prize in the Humanities in an article under the label "Idé- & kulturdebatt i SvD Kultur" External link, opens in new window. in Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet today.
Risberg is a SCAS Pro Futura Scientia Fellow and Docent/Researcher at the Department of Philosophy at Uppsala University. He is currently in residence at SCAS (2025-26). Schottenius Cullhed is Docent/Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at Uppsala University and was in residence at the Collegium in the autumn term of 2025.

Samuli Simelius has been appointed Docent in History at the University of Helsinki. External link, opens in new window.
Simelius is currently a SCAS-Nordic Fellow in residence at the Collegium (2025-26).

The Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities has awarded Maria Ågren the Academy's Gold Medal of Merit (“Akademiens förtjänstmedalj i guld”) External link, opens in new window., for her extremely valuable contributions to the Academy Board and for her careful and forward-looking work as Secretary-General.
Ågren was a Fellow in residence at SCAS in the spring term of 2016. She is Professor of History at Uppsala University.
