Her research has also been published by reputable publishers such as the SAGE Handbook of Qualitative Research in Organizational Communication and Research in the Sociology of Organizations.
At SCAS, Albu will continue to examine how visibility and invisibility created by digital platforms shape the mobilization of climate movements. She investigates how in/visibility trajectories result from the interplay between activists’ practices, the uses and non-use of technology, and the moderation of content on platforms. This project is advancing research at the intersection of media and communication studies and contributing to our understanding of how climate movements can navigate the conundrums of in/visibility on digital platforms.
