Yesterday afternoon, SCAS hosted a session of the Umeå University Research and Leadership Programme (ReaL) as SCAS Principal Christina Garsten and SCAS Fellow Grace Diabah met with the participants to discuss different dimensions of research excellence, including pros and cons.
At a ceremony in the Thunberg Hall last Thursday, the five recently admitted Pro Futura Scientia XX Fellows were presented with diplomas and welcomed into the SCAS community by SCAS Principal Christina Garsten.
Commencing his time in residence yesterday on 1 September 2026, Daniel Lee will be at the Collegium for one year as a fellow and holder of the 2025 Visiting Researcher Grant in research into the Holocaust, victims of the Holocaust and antisemitism, funded by the Swedish Research Council.
