We are delighted to present Professor Naoko Shimazu as Non-resident Long-term Fellow for Programmes on Modern History and International Relations at the Collegium. She takes office today, 1 July 2025, and has been appointed for a three-year term.

Naoko Shimazu is Professor and Deputy Director at Tokyo College, Institute for Advanced Study, University of Tokyo. She will be in residence at SCAS in September 2025.
