SCAS Hosts the Annual NetIAS Meeting

This evening, we are delighted to welcome colleagues from our sister institutes across Europe for the annual meeting of the Network of European Institutes for Advanced Study (NetIAS).
Directors and other representatives from the member institutes will gather at the Collegium to discuss ongoing initiatives, future collaborations, and shared opportunities and challenges.
Among other things, there will be sessions devoted to the current efforts of the different working groups. The NetIAS working groups focus on key issues for IASs, and include themes such as early-career researchers, arts & sciences, and applications assessment.
The meeting will last until lunch-time on Thursday, and will be directly followed by the SCAS Jubilee Symposium on the theme Transitions: Future Trajectories of Institutes for Advanced Study (IASs) in Academia.
Created in 2004, NetIAS is an informal association of 25 institutes for advanced study in seventeen European countries. Read more about NetIAS here.
