SCAS Welcomes New Members to Its National Board
As of 1 January 2026, two new members have joined the National Board of SCAS. Nominated by their home universities, Virginia Langum is the new representative of Umeå University, whereas Johan Norrback is representing the University of Gothenburg.
Virginia Langum is Professor of English at Umeå University and a former SCAS Pro Futura Scientia Fellow. Johan Norrback is Senior Lecturer in Classical Music and Church Music at the University of Gothenburg.
The term of office for the new board is three years.
