Sverker Sörlin Appointed Member of the Collegium's Academic Senate

Today we are delighted to present a new member of the Academic Senate of SCAS, namely Professor Sverker Sörlin. The Academic Senate ensures scholarly excellence and a global outlook across all of the Collegium’s programmes, and provides advice on institutional matters. It serves to guarantee the highest scholarly standards and a sustained global commitment in all SCAS activities.

Sverker Sörlin is Professor of Environmental History at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, and has previously served as Non-resident Long-term Fellow for Programmes on Environmental Humanities at SCAS. He took office as Member of the Academic Senate on 1 January 2026.
