SCAS Continues Its Support of the VUIAS Initiative

We are happy to announce that SCAS is continuing its support of the VUIAS External link, opens in new window. initiative for the coming three-year period. Funded by Vetenskapsrådet – The Swedish Research Council – SCAS will invite applications for the academic year 2026–2027, with the call opening on Thursday, 22 January. Deadline for the application is 27 February, 2026.

The Virtual Ukraine Institute for Advanced Study (VUIAS) was founded in 2023 on the initiative of Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin, together with leading research institutions External link, opens in new window. in Europe and the US, SCAS being a founding member.

VUIAS provides Ukrainian researchers with the opportunity to conduct research and scholarly work both in Ukraine and at member institutes. VUIAS is part of the International Coalition for Science, Research and Innovation in Ukraine.
