Edvinsson is Professor at the Department of Economic History and International Relations at Stockholm University. He is a former Pro Futura Scientia Fellow who was in residence at the Collegium in 2014-15.

Isaac Kalimi is Former Gutenberg-Research Professor of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament Studies and History of Ancient Israel at the Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz. He was in residence at SCAS in the academic year 2014-15.

Jennifer Mack is Associate Professor of Theory and History of Architecture, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, and a Pro Futura Scientia Fellow of SCAS. She was in residence at the Collegium in the academic year 2023-24 and will be back in the autumn of 2026.

Valbona Muzaka has been awarded an ERC Advanced Grant External link, opens in new window. 2025 for her project "Health-Wealth: Transforming Global Public Health Issues into Financial Assets".

Muzaka is Professor of Economic History at Uppsala University and a former Global Horizons Senior Fellow at SCAS (2022-23). On 1 September 2026 she takes office at SCAS as theme lead of the Health & Sustainability – Inequity & Consumption theme of the new Nordic NNF-IAS Fellowship Programme on Health and Sustainability.

The Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei has awarded the International Antonio Feltrinelli Prize for Moral and Historical Sciences 2026 External link, opens in new window. (in the field of Social Sciences) to Wang Hui "for his contribution to the understanding of the historical roots of Chinese modernity and for his critical analysis of globalization processes".

Wang Hui is a Distinguished Professor of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Tsinghua University and Founding Director of the Tsinghua Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Beijing. He is a former Member of the Academic Senate of SCAS and has been a Short-term Visitor at the Collegium on numerous occasions between 2013-2018.

Lewis Webb has been elected Member of the Young Academy of Sweden External link, opens in new window. 2026-31.

Webb is a Pro Futura Scientia Fellow at SCAS and Associate Professor of Ancient History at University of Gothenburg. He will be in residence during the upcoming academic year 2026-27.

Maria Ågren is to receive H.M. The King’s Medal of the 8th size with the ribbon of the Order of the Seraphim External link, opens in new window. “for significant contributions within research on Swedish history”. She will be presented with the medal at a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Stockholm on 9 September.

Maria Ågren is Professor of History at Uppsala University and a former SCAS Fellow. She was in residence in the spring of 2016.
