SCAS Hosted the Umeå University Research and Leadership Programme

Yesterday afternoon, SCAS hosted a session of the Umeå University Research and Leadership Programme (ReaL) as SCAS Principal Christina Garsten and SCAS Fellow Grace Diabah met with the participants to discuss different dimensions of research excellence, including pros and cons.
The group was also joined by SCAS Fellows Linda Andersson Burnett and Rick de Villiers who contributed to the discussions with their experiences from institutes for advanced study.
ReaL is a competence and career programme targeting research leaders at Umeå, designed to develop individual leadership skills and to provide tools and techniques for participants to become even more impactful leaders and researchers. Participants come from different faculties across the university.
