North Sea Dialogue

The North Sea Dialogue is a pilot project aimed at fostering academic collaboration between the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (SCAS) in Uppsala and the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) at the University of Cambridge, UK.

The North Sea Dialogue seeks to build a lasting intellectual connection between Uppsala and Cambridge, promoting interdisciplinary research and dialogue through intimate, small-group thematic exchanges. These interactions will form the basis for deeper academic partnerships between SCAS and CRASSH, advancing scholarly cooperation across borders.

The first workshop was held in May 2025, on the topic of academic self censorship.
