Six Talented Early-Career Scholars Appointed Pro Futura Scientia XIX Fellows

SCAS is now pleased to present the next generation of talented early-career scholars who have been admitted to the prestigious Pro Futura Scientia programme.

Set up by SCAS and Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ) in 1999, it is a cutting-edge research programme in the humanities and social sciences, where the idea is to provide optimal conditions for young researchers and give them a chance to pursue curiosity-driven research for a five-year period. A one (to one-and-a-half) year stint at SCAS and a year abroad are included in the programme.

Admittance to the programme is based upon nominations by Swedish universities, and the selection procedure is handled by an international committee organized and run by RJ.

In the recent round of admissions, a total of 28 researchers were nominated by 11 universities. The six researchers who have now been appointed Pro Futura Scientia XIX Fellows are:
