Audience in front of a TV screen where the Fellows 2026-27 are about to be announced.

The inaugural cohort of Sabbatical Fellows were in residence at the Collegium in the spring of 2026. After the second call and round of nominations, we are now delighted to share the names of seven scholars who will join us as Sabbatical Fellows during the upcoming academic year.

The Sabbatical Fellowship Programme, which is by nomination only and open to scholars who hold a position at one of the nominating Swedish universities, was launched ahead of the academic year 2025-26.

Some Fellows will be in residence during the entire academic year, whereas others will be at the Collegium either during the autumn or the spring semester.

More information about each Fellow will be available later on.
