Sabbatical Fellowship Programme

Ahead of the academic year 2025-26, the Swedish Collegium launched a pilot round of a new Sabbatical Fellowship Programme. The programme offers researchers at Swedish universities the possibility to spend their sabbatical in residence at the Collegium.

Candidates are nominated by their Swedish home universities. It is not possible to apply to the programme.

An evaluation of the pilot round will take place shortly. It will be followed by a Call for Nominations for the academic year 2026-27 in due course.

The first Sabbatical Fellows will be in residence during the spring of 2026.
