SCAS Fellow Poul Holm has Received Funding from EU's COST Programme
Poul Holm, current EURIAS Fellow at SCAS, has received funding from the European Union through its
COST Programme to lead a new European Oceans Past Platform. The platform will bring together historians,
archaeologists, social scientists and marine scientists. The aim is to understand the impact of humans on marine
life and the role of marine resources for human society in the last two millennia. Findings will help improve future
coastal and marine management.
Poul Holm is Trinity Long Room Hub Professor of Humanities at Trinity College Dublin.
