A paper co-authored by Carol Upadhya and Vinay Gidwani, ‘Articulation work:
Value chains of land assembly and real estate development on a peri-urban frontier’,
has been awarded an Ashby Prize by the journal EPA: Economy and Space for the
year 2023. The Ashby Prizes are awarded for the most innovative papers published
in the journal during the year. 

Carol Upadhya was a Fellow in residence at SCAS in the spring term of 2023.
