SCAS Receives Funding from Riksbankens Jubileumsfond for Its New Nordic Fellowship
Programme

Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ) has generously granted SCAS funding enabling the Collegium to
expand its range of fellowship programme further, this time through the SCAS Nordic Fellowship
Programme.

The purpose of the new programme is to strengthen the ties between the Swedish research community
and Nordic colleagues, and the programme will be open to scholars in the humanities and social sciences
who hold a position at a university in one of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway,
as well as the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland). During a period of three years, up to six researchers
may be invited as Fellows-in-residence at the Collegium. The first call - for the academic year 2024-25 -
will open shortly.

RJ is also funding a similar initiative, targeting Swedish researchers, at three of the Collegium’s Nordic
sister institutes, namely Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS), Centre for Advanced Study (CAS)
in Oslo and Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies (HCAS). Joint activities for the Nordic Fellows are
being planned.
